Why learning English through debating?
Our Ted Club is a debating club for children and teenagers between the ages of 9 and 18 years old who already feel confident enough in expressing their ideas and opinions in English. It is set up in debate format with a variety of topics that children can discuss and debate. These topics matter to society, and they are topics that the children can readily engage with.

Kamal is the creator of the language Cloud, an innovative language program whose goal is to teach languages in a fun and creative way to both children and adults. Trained as an international school teacher in Denmark, he has an extensive experience, ranging from teaching English and French to toddlers and their mums to teaching business English to companies and young entrepreneurs. As a world traveler and educator, Kamal has also worked with primary school teachers trainees in Angola and trained European volunteers for educational projects in Africa and Asia. Thanks to his experience as a teacher in public and in special Needs schools in England and Denmark, he gained valuable teaching skills that allow him to work as educational consultant for alternative education programs, such as outdoor learning, bilingual schools, or project based learning pedagogies. With all these experiences, Kamal is now well settled in Lithuania where he intends to share his expertise in education and language learning. When given the opportunity, Kamal also lectures in University and non-profit organisations around the themes of cultures, politics and ethnicity. He believes that mastering a language can only be successful if it is approached in the most holistic way possible, that is to say, by trying to understand the human, natural, social, and cultural elements of the world we live in.
